We met Daphne and Adam out at Pebble Hill one afternoon, and they looked SO cute. We were getting ready to start photographing, when we heard thunder rolling in… then sprinkling… then sudden downpour. I literally took one frame to test light. We kept thinking the rain would let up, but it never did. This wasn’t the kind of rain you could pull out the umbrellas and keep shooting in. This was Forrest Gump rain. I felt bad. Daphne had her hair and makeup done and I had come from Valdosta to shoot them. Who knows what 40% means anymore? The weather this summer has been SO unpredictable. I mean, we had discussed it with Daphne up until time to go, but we were sort of on a time crunch to get these done before Adam left for school. Anyway, we tried again… 30% rain. Scary. It threatened, but it never did rain the last time. I think we nailed some great shots, and maybe, just maybe we pulled Daphne out of her shell a little bit. She is so quiet and sweet, and Adam seems like a funny guy! Gorgeous couple. I loved their style ! We can’t wait until their wedding next summer.
