A: If you’d like to reserve a spot, use the booking system below . Just make sure you double check the date and time that best suits your needs.  

A. We would love for you to host us! We ask that hosts promote the event on social media and in local forums, be friendly to clients, answering the door and greeting them if we cannot. We will need a 10’ x 10’ space with an outlet. It doesn’t have to be beautiful or even have a window. We’ve been in basements, workout rooms, closets, and office buildings. We need a restroom for the clients to use and change in. In exchange , the host receives sitting fee coverage for their child plus an 11”x14” fine art print. For heirloom sessions where we have to travel, we need at least 7 sittings (outside of the hosts’ child) to cover our costs. In the event that we don’t have enough bookings and have to cancel , we would refund and bookings for that date. If all of that sounds good, shoot us an email with some dates that work for you!

A: Siblings need their own session time.

A: Light colored heirloom-style clothing works well. If you don’t have anything that works, browse our collection, and let us know what you’d like to borrow. Alternatively, we have had people wear plain white tee shirts and babies to go shirtless. 

A: Children should be able to sit upright on their parents’ knee, with space between the parent and child. 6+ months is strongly recommended. We cannot be held responsible for babies who do not have core or neck control or who may flail. We do not have bumbos or chairs for infants.

A: Absolutely! We tend to remove anything that isn’t permanent (pimples , scratches, etc) and leave anything that lives on your kiddo (moles, scars, birth marks). Things that require extensive restoration work, like black eyes or busted lips, will be left on for proofing, but removed for any photos ordered. Braces removal is a $20 per image fee. 

A: Stranger danger is real ! Especially in those 1-2 year babies! I recommend coming very early, sitting away from the current session, but close enough that the child is aware of what is going on. Just spend time with the child. Tickle, laugh, play, but don’t bring attention to us or the current session. Kids are more curious if *they* discover us. If they’re still nervous we will deploy our many *many* child silliness tactics. 

A: Tell them about us. Tell them our lights are bright and that we are very silly people. Tell them, if they do a great job, they get to choose from our treasure box. Also, please wipe any chocolate , boogers, dried yogurt, etc. from their sweet little faces. 

A: 15-20 minutes before your appointment time, depending on if you need to change and prep your kiddo.
