Anna and JR got engaged!::Thomasville, GA::Portrait Photograher

Hey guys! Cristina here. We’ve had such a nice summer so far. One thing that has brightened my summer is being a part sweet marriage proposal. My sweet friends Anna and JR are engaged! So, I haven’t known Anna and JR for terribly long, but they are the kind of friends that I feel like I’ve known forever. Ever since Red Fly started over 6 years ago, I personally have struggled with putting my life before business. I know other business owners have to same problem, but we sometimes become hermits and just live in our little work bubble and don’t get out and live life like we should. Anyway, when Molly had sweet little Fin, I feel like our worlds and perspective on life changed. We realized life and family should definitely come before work. Or at least we have more of a balance in our lives. I realized that I need more friends in my life and go on more adventures and I needed to make time to do that. So, long story short, I found a new friend, Anna! I love her to bits and she is an amazing individual. She’s owns 2 business and she just graduated from college. What??! She also is a Godly woman and has a huge heart! After a few months of our new friendship, I finally got to officially meet, JR, her sweetheart! And he is a sweetheart! My husband and I love hanging out with these two so much. I’m so thankful for their friendship! Anyway, JR, a couple of months ago told me the date he was going to ask Anna to marry him and asked if I could document this special moment for them. He decided to propose on Anna’s birthday, in her backyard. He washed her feet like Jesus did his disciples and JR did the same for Anna. He asked her to dance and then popped the question. She said yes and I’m so excited for these two! Thanks for letting me be a part of the scheming, it was such an honor. Love y’all!
