Kristen + Dustin :: A Loblolly Rise Wedding ::

A few weeks ago, we photographed Kristen and Dustin’s wedding on a soggy serene day in Thomasville at Loblolly Rise. We had never photographed there before but we loved the simplicity , and how well thought-out it is. A few years ago, Dustin worked as a videographer (but he’s too good for us now 🙁 ) and one day Cristina nudged him and said “Hey Dustin! When are you and Kristen going to get married?” and he said “Not yet. But when we do, we’ll call you.” Y’all people say that to us a lot, but don’t really mean it. Well we waited and waited and wait AND WAITED and finally, Cristina called me squealing about how Dustin was going to propose. I think she actually squealed. Not only did they want us for their wedding, y’all , they actually changed their date for us . How honored are we , not only to be able to capture these two in their elements, but to also call them friends. I knew Dustin was hilarious, but I didn’t know Kristen was a comedian too! I loved hanging out with her. Ps. My four year old also thinks you look like Belle ..
