Kim + Daniel :: The Walter’s Barn :: Lula, GA Engagement Photographer

A couple of weeks ago, we photographed Kim and Daniel at Walter’s Barn. Kim has been one of my favorite people for about 10 years now, so I was pretty skeptical that anyone could be cool enough for her when Daniel came alone. I first fell in love with Kim’s long straight hair and killer eyebrows in drawing and photo class. We bonded over a flat tire, waffle house, and a workshop that we decided to attend where you cross circuit toys and make them say things like “NIIIINE” when you press the wrong button (it was artsy, OK?!) .  It wasn’t long until we were going on photo hikes and picking ticks off each other. We experimented with foods we hated (did we really crock pot tilapia and then douse it with ketchup? )  and celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving. She then became my only sane room mate.  (haha. I jest. Just in case you’re reading this Jessica ).  The nights spent sitting in the dark discussing politics and how liberals were dumb (me) and how republicans could suck it (her ) , crying over stupid things men did, watching the game show network and court tv, and writing really ridiculous things on a board my other roommate kept in the living room , all were just so much fun. She’s always been there for me, from me needing to know where my keys were, to driving 5 hours to surprise me at Fin’s baby shower. I can always count on her, and I love her. BUT cough cough. Back to Daniel.  I haven’t laughed so hard in a while, and I think he is perfect for her.  I wish they lived closer so we could hang and laugh just like old times.  Thank you for the honor of letting us photograph your faces!
