Hey everyone! Molly here!
A few weeks ago, we photographed Erika and John’s Wedding out at Loblolly. I was so nervous about this day because the radar looked awful. It was green and red and yellow and basically, there was no way to avoid rain. People say rain on the wedding day is good luck, but when you’ve planned an outdoor wedding it doesn’t feel so lucky. And we never know how the bride and groom are going to react to these unfortunate changes in plans. Fortunately for us, Erika and John had the best wedding planners in John Gandy’s team. When we arrived, the team had already flipped the ceremony to under the pavilion and Erika had already gathered a jar full of rain to keep as a keepsake. Everyone was calm. Oh thank heavens!! These two were so relaxed and totally up for doing some rainy day photos. The sun even ended up coming out for a bit after the ceremony and it was a gorgeous way to start the reception. Jenny the lab was there to witness the union of her dad to her new mom, and we were all smitten with her and probably the best wedding hashtag ever.
