Hey Everyone! Molly here!
A few weeks ago, we traveled to McDonough to photograph Courtney and Eric’s gorgeous wedding in a family friend’s 19th century (supposedly haunted ) house. Cristina and I have loved Courtney since we went to college with her. She is an amazing illustrator .. actually, she was great at pretty much any medium she tried. But that’s not why we liked her. We liked her because she was authentically different. I have days where I feel like dressing with a vintage flair. We have brides who see vintage on Pinterest and decide they like it for their wedding. Nope. Courtney is vintage 365 days a year. She has a style like no other and a personality that is so so super sweet. I’m not kidding when I tell you she has a permanent smile on. Anyway, C and I wondered what kind of family she had and what kind of man she chose to marry, and they were perfect. We loved them all. Everyone smiled and hugged each other all day..and they meant it! Our super talented rockstar photog friend Greta came along to assist and 3rd shoot since I’m pregnant and this was a 2 weddings kinda weekend and I was already tired from being sick with a cold. Anyway, this might be my favorite of the year. There are A LOT of photos, so please be patient when waiting to load.
Cake: Bliss
Caterer: The Grand Gourmet
Courtney, her mom, and her sister, made her brooch bouquet.
We started out in Courtney’s flapper dress. We loved the detail!!
Then it was time to change into her 1920’s wedding dress and headpiece that actually came as a set. Check out the photo way on down there of the first bride who wore it!! How cool!
A moment with dad…
And then it was time for Eric to see her in her dress!
I for real love these two.
Courtney entered down the staircase in the main hallway of the house and her guests followed her into the living room where Eric was waiting.
LOVE! What a fun wedding!
THESE ARE PRECIOUS!!!! what a good-lookin couple! oh my goodness <3 i was gonna name favs, but there are too many… well i'll try… the one of court showing some leg and that garter, her shadow on the ground, the super wide shot of the ceremony, the mirror shot of the ceremony, the one at the blue wall where she's looking back over her shoulder… ok i'll stop now 🙂 thanks for having me, it was a blast!
These wedding pictures are stunning! Me and my family were wondering where the bride found the photo of the original bride and her headpiece because she is my great grandmother. Thanks!
