Hey everyone! Molly here!
Last year, Boyce contacted us about his wedding. We always know that when guys contact us, it will be a good wedding because they really care about the photos. We had a chance to meet these two at another wedding earlier this year, and we got so excited. Well… once I figured out who Anna was. You see, it’s kind of rare for a groom to be our main contact, so when Anna came up to us and said “Hey! Y’all are photographing my wedding later this year!” Cristina and I kind of looked at each other like “we are?” Haha! Soon, we figured out who these two were. They were so much fun, and had a TON of family and friends come to celebrate with them.
Anna and Boyce got married on like…the most sweltering day ever. It was 105 degrees on a golf course, so I expected the guys to complain. They were dressed in 3 piece black tuxes, and even though we only had them out there for a few minutes, I expected some sort of uproar. These guys didn’t complain once! I was SO impressed. They had the “let’s do it!” attitude, so we were able to get smiles and laughs and get it done. Anna and Boyce did great when it came time for couple’s portraits too. It’s hard to be lovey on someone when it is so darn hot, but these two pulled it off with ease. Plus, the light was so yummy.
I have to say, these two had one of the prettiest receptions I think we’ve ever had. There were so many gorgeous details…well you’ll see.
Here are our favorites:
Vendors:
Venue: Savannah Golf Club
Wedding Gown : Bleu Belle Bridal
Hair: B Street Salon
Florist: John Davis Florist
Cake: Minette Rushing
Caterer: The Savannah Golf Club
Ice Sculptor: (please let me know who did this, and I’ll add it! )
Band: Finesse (they did a great job getting everyone involved)
Videographer : David Moon
Anna and her girls got ready on Tybee Island, so they all braved the heat long enough to get some great shots under the funky trees!
Fah Real. She’s gorgeous!
Then , it was off to the golf club to photograph the men !
I loved this one of Boyce, his dad, and his brother ! They were all so sweet!
Love it when a dad sees his kiddo as a bride for the first time.
Notes were exchanged, and then it was wedding time!!!
These were the details I was talking about!
We love wedding where there are weird traditions! haha! Here, Anna’s brothers tackled the groom to put a cowbell around Boyce’s neck . He had to wear it the rest of the night!
But you know, everyone needs more cowbell so it was ok! More cowbell!
I feel like that’s the best garter picture we’ve ever gotten! haha! The determination.
There might have been a dance contest that got a little out of control. Viewer discretion was advised and enforced by some dads.
Anna won the contest, obviously!
The guys also had a dance contest! They win for creativity!
The dads won that one.. Look at the Trend Suspenders coming off! Ow Ow!
Everyone had a ridiculously good time. I always love when bands play “Don’t stop believing”, because people go cah-razy! I like to catch them right when they’re in the middle of
“peopleeeeeeeeeee” ! 🙂
Thanks for a great time, you two!
