Hey everyone! Molly here!
Last month, we photographed Michaela and Zach’s wedding at the gorgeous Millpond Plantation in Thomasville. I woke up that morning and checked the weather. 100% chance of rain all day for an outdoor wedding. Yikes! Now, I know that “they say” that rain on your wedding day is good luck, but no bride , groom, (or photographer) really wants to hear it. They especially don’t want to hear it 40 times from 40 different people who are only trying to be cheerful . haha! Needless to say, it rained. A LOT. But Michaela and Zach handled it like champs, and it was actually quite peaceful durning their portrait session. I was so glad that they had picked such a lovely venue with plenty of archways, pathways, and covered areas. I think we got some really good stuff!
About an hour before the wedding, the rain stopped and the groomsmen and groom worked hard trying to dry all of the wet chairs. It started sprinkling again right as the wedding started, but despite being a little damp , it added some romance . A little rain didn’t bother these two :). We loved getting to spend their day with them!

The one on the left is one of my favorites, because you can see the rain pouring in.

I am in love with these photos! You can see the genuine happiness in their eyes!
