Hey Guys! Cristina here! We are just in the swing of our fall wedding season and we are loving it! We’ve gotten to work with so many sweet couples and their amazing tribes. I had the honor of photographing my cousin’s wedding up in Warwick, New York a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! My cousin, Dan and his beautiful wife, Sindhu got married in India a few months ago, so this is their American ceremony. They decided to get married at URJ Kutz Camp, a lovely summer camp, nestled in the hills and country side of Warwick. It was a beautiful day! They have an amazing group of friends and family that all came together and helped with everything. Dan’s granddad made the gorgeous arbor that they got married under. The night before all the bridesmaids made the bouquets and boutonnieres, which was so much fun! The morning of the wedding, the camp was swarming with all of their friends and family setting up and there was music being practiced, everyone was so helpful and that was heartwarming. I loved meeting all their friends, spending time with my family and meeting Sindhu’s family! The ceremony was so personal and my uncle and his mother in law sang a beautiful song together and made everyone cry. The reception was so much fun, filled with lots of latin dancing to some of our Papi’s favorite songs. There were lots of sing alongs and I think everyone brought their instrument and played along! So fun! Thanks guys for letting me be a part of your wedding day! Love y’all!
A little about these two:
How did they meet? “Dan and Sindhu met through a student food cooperative in Newark, Delaware, where Sindhu grew up and Dan went to school. They bonded over a mutual love of food and farming and a passion for social justice:)”
How did he propose? “Dan and Sindhu spent a year apprenticing at Caretaker Farm in Williamstown, MA. At the end of the season, Dan proposed in the middle of the farm’s flower garden. “The farmer, Don, officiated the wedding.
Things they enjoy to do during their spare time: Dan likes to run ridiculous distances. Sindhu and Dan both like to punch things (currently taking Muay Thai classes) and grow food! Sindhu likes to crochet.”
