A few weeks ago, we headed to Southwood House to photograph Lynne and Donna’s gorgeous wedding. There were a ton of things that made their ceremony unique, but what made it the same was love- not only for each other but for their family and friends as well. My favorite thing about their day was the emotion and celebration. The whole day was spent laughing with and hugging everyone around them. These two had a way of making you felt like you belong- I honestly felt like I had known their whole crew for years. Before the wedding, Donna wrote to us that she hoped the day would be “A celebration of our love for each other, a celebration of the wonderful love and support that we have had from friends and family for years (we have been together for 9 years) and a celebration that marriage equality has become a reality and what it took to get to our special day” and they nailed it. It was exactly that, and I am so happy for them.
