Courtney + Jared :: Atlanta , GA Wedding Photographer ::

A few weeks ago, we photographed Courtney and Jared’s beautiful wedding at Park Tavern in Atlanta. The day was beautiful, and the weather was awesome. Courtney was gorgeous and Jared was handsome! These two had amazing families who surrounded them with love all day, and it made for a great ceremony.

I have to share Courtney and Jared’s proposal story because…let’s be honest…he did good:
“His mom told me she won backstage tickets to the GA aquarium! She’s lucky like that, so I didn’t question it. Jared’s twin sister came with us and we went through a tour of the aquarium. It was all the cool things you never get to see up close when there’s a big crowd. We got to see poisonous dart frogs, chocolate chip star fish, rare fish, etc. Finally, at the end of the tour, they were showing us the water filtration system and all the fish collected when they’re shipped and don’t make it past customs. I thought the tour was over, but a photographer came through the door and they said they needed to take pictures for a new brochure for the tour. I thought nothing of it, until he asked to take a picture of us. Jared and I were looking at these HUGE oyster shells, and inside of one, was a big pearl and “will you marry me?” inside of it!! I turned to look for Jared, and he was down on one knee!! I was speechless! So all I could do was stretch out my arms for a hug! Still to this day he giggles at me for not saying “yes” right away and wanting a hug! But hey, at least he caught me by surprise!! It was the best day ever!!”
