Frequently Asked Questions

  •   Q: Digital or film?
    •  A: Digital, but we sometimes bring film to shoot for fun if we have extra time!
  • Q: Do you travel?
    •  A: Yes! We love to travel ! However, you must pay for all of our travel expenses including gas and lodging.
  • Q: How many images will I get?
    •  A: For weddings: We usually deliver 500-700 images from a 2 person shooter wedding.
    •   A: For portraits: It depends on which option you choose.
  • Q: When will my proofs be online?
    •  A: For weddings: We aim for your proofs to be online 4-6 weeks after your wedding
    •  A: For portraits: 2-4 weeks after your session
  • Q: How many weddings do you do in 1 day?
    •  A: One. Weddings are too exhausting to do any more than that…. umm, i mean, we like to concentrate on one bride a day :).
  • Q: What is your style?
    •  A: We shoot in modern and photojournalistic styles. Getting ready, ceremony, and receptions are photojournalistic style. Portraits are modern suggested poses.  Take a look at our post processing and make sure you like our artistic touch before you book us.
  • Q: What else can I get?
    •  A: Well, what do you want? 🙂  We do engagement sessions, bridal sessions, coffee table albums, canvases, etc.
  • Q: What should we bring to our portrait session?
    • A: Any props that help describe you and your family.  A childs favorite stuffed animal, a change or two of clothes, grandmas old hat and pearls (for little girls), grandpas favorite old leather hat or boots (for little boys), oh and a bottle of cold water (in case we are shooting in south Georgia).   Any other ideas we can discuss beforehand.
  • Q: What should we wear to our portrait session?
    •  A: Wear something that expresses everyones individual style. You are spending time and money on these photos, so please be prepared.  Look through magazines to get ideas, and if you are still confused we can look through your closet.  We will also share some helpful pinterest links with you!
    • Wild patterns and small stripes sometimes look trippy in-camera.   If you are pale, like me, white will make you look even more pale, so reconsider everyone wearing white button-ups.. or get a tan.
  • Q: Where will you shoot our session?
    •  A: Wherever you want to.  If your personality is more up-beat and contemporary, downtown may be the answer. But if you are country at heart, a nice grassy field or old barn may be the best. But remember, because we cannot personally control the weather, outdoor shooting may be delayed.
