A few weeks ago, we traveled to Atlanta for Mary Jane and Sal’s engagement session in Atlanta.  We had so much fun with these two!  There is nothing better than a gorgeous day with a gorgeous couple ! We first met these two at Mary Jane’s sister’s wedding a few years ago. Can I just tell you what an honor it is to have family members ask us to photograph their wedding too? That’s when you know you did  a good job Anyway, we still have a little while until these two get married, but I can’t wait!!

A few weeks ago, we traveled to Twin City, GA to photograph Jakyn and Chris’s wedding.  These two had a super fun crew to hang out with.  It seemed like everyone was best friends, including Jakyn and Chris. My favorite thing about their wedding was the colors she chose.  To me, it was the perfect spring time palette, and it went great with the venue too!

We had a good time checking out the local town of Swainsboro with our assistant Jessica Porter. We ate at a great Mexican restaurant that my college room mate told us about, and we stayed at a delightful bed and breakfast , The Edenfield House .

A couple of weeks ago, we photographed Ashah and Ben . You see, Ben gave Ashah a ring, and she THREW IT ON THE GROUND!  Kidding. She put it on her hand. Cristina and I are so excited that these two chose us to be their photographers, because Ashah is a photographer (check out her super sweet site here) too and has a ton of photog friends. I may or may not have threatened their mothers.  I mean..

After we went to Stone Mountain, we traveled to Madison to photograph Brittany and Derreck’s super cute engagement session at the Farmhouse Inn.  We got there bright and early for the session, so I was still pretty groggy until we met the sweetest Collie dog.  He or she was so pretty, and perked me up right away! Derreck came out and introduced himself, and I could tell it would be a great session. Brittany came out shortly after, and we drove all around. I’m glad they were up for exploring! We probably took too long on this session. There were WAY too many photos to edit. I think I could have photographed them at this location all day.

A few weeks ago, we traveled to Atlanta for Shawna and Aaron’s engagement session. We had originally planned the session for Piedmont Park, but there was a Braves game, Final Four, and a slew of free concerts that weekend, so we decided to go to Stone Mountain Park where it would be less crowded. Oh, right, it was spring break for the schools up there too! haha! People EVERYWHERE! haha!

Shawna and Aaron were good sports, and super giggly (which we love). I think it’s great when a couple can just laugh together all the time! We can’t wait until their wedding!!

I’m going to bulk blog today. I’m still trying to figure out the working mom baby thing, so I guess blogging every day is out of the question for now. Cristina sent me these images a couple of … months .. ago to blog. I had asked her on the phone how the session went, because I was still at home enjoying fresh scent of new babe (yes , that’s how long ago this session was..sorry Mycah!! ). C told me that the session went great, that it was freezing, and Mycah took the cold like a champ in her dress.   She said that she and Todd weren’t afraid to cuddle. She also told me that Mycah was very pretty.  Cristina says this about everyone. If you know C, she will describe you as “pretty” and “nice”. Even if you aren’t. C will still say “she has a hump back and three eyes, but she’s pretty.”   Anyway, my point is that she wasn’t just being kind when she told me about Mycah. Holy gorgeousness ! I can’t wait for these two to get hitched pretty soon and get them in front of MY lens .

A few weeks ago, we traveled down to Port St. Joe to photograph Katie and Wilfredo’s wedding with their awesome families. We do love intimate weddings!  Katie and Wil were so super sweet.  I love the way they interacted with each other and the fact that they were up for anything!

I loved this moment between Katie and Wil’s mom when she saw her in her wedding dress! Wil’s parent’s traveled from Honduras , so their communication was limited but you could easily see the love!

 I loved how unique their wedding was!

I know I’m behind on blogging. I stink. I know. Booooooo.

Cristina photographed Carrie and Justin’s awesome Christmas tree farm wedding at the beginning of February (told you I was behind on blogging). Our good buddy Greta, From the Hip, second shot while I was on maternity leave ! I loved the look of Carrie’s wedding. I knew it would be spectacular because she’s a photographer too and knows what she wants, but I loved looking through all of the photos!

A few weeks ago, we photographed Nichole and Jared’s wedding at First Baptist in Sylvester.  I loved the simple , timeless, color pallet . It was perfect for this time of year.  They had a JAM UP reception at her family’s house.   We knew these two were ready to make it to the reception, and when we arrived I knew why!  The food was amazing, the decorations were gorgeous, and the cake was delicious! Az Izz band tore it up ! Everyone was dancing! We loved hanging out with these two, their friends, and their families for the day!
